Post-holidays—just when you thought you didn’t have to lust after stuff for at least a little while— the annual Consumer Electronics Show (CES) has to come along and ruin everything. This is by design, of course: The event, held every January in Las Vegas, is an opportunity for consumer electronics makers to show the world what they’ll be selling later this year. And get us all fired up to buy, yet again.
